UV printing is a new type of printing method where an image file from a computer can be directly printed onto a product/material. It uses UV (ultraviolet) light to instantly harden the ink while it is being printed, eliminating the need for drying time or make setup films. Compared to silkscreen printing or offset printing, it is more suitable for small-batch production. Additionally, UV printing overcomes the problem of traditional silkscreen or offset printing, which cannot print on embossed or 3D surfaces. It can print full-color images on flat, embossed, debossed, or perforated surfaces, with vivid colors and excellent gradient effects. It should be noted that although UV printing has no color limitations, it cannot print metallic colors.
